About East Coast Limers

Established in 2015 by DJ Wayne, East Coast Limers started off as a t-shirt band. Today, ECL is a vibrant, family friendly mas band that embodies the carnival spirit of Trinidad & Tobago, brought to life by the creative vision of Joanne Meighoo as the section designer. A Sando girl, born on Coffee Street and raised in the land of endless carnival festivities, she was involved in Carnival from a tender age. In addition, we have Ronald "Barney" Blaize, veteran large costume, T&T designer and masquerader, bringing over 50 years in the mas business to ECL.

With infectious energy and artistic flair, our family friendly band has celebrated 7 glorious wins in Baltimore's 2025 One Carnival celebrations, making waves and spreading joy in every parade we that we showcase T&T carnival!
